Thanks for posting the full scan of this issue. You can get a pretty good idea of the expected-proper interests of middle-class American housewives of this era. This title is completely forgotten today, but had an interesting history. In the early years of the 20th Century they were printing a million copies of every issue, so its influence must have been substantial.
